The operations and specific activities of the ministry will include
those highlighted in this section. It should be noted that whereas some
of the activities or operations described below will begin (at least
rudimentarily) immediately and later blossom to fullness, some others
cannot commence at all for now until in the coming months or years.
Availability of essential resources—human, material, and financial
resources—and the right enabling environment will determine the right
take off and/or expansion time for the various operations and activities
envisaged. 1. Association of Ministers for the Revival of the Church—AMROC (Pursuant to objective no. 18) The ministry shall establish an association of ministers for the revival of the church. Members of this association shall be drawn from the various church denominations. The association shall operate as a sub-unit of the ministry and shall organize some special programs such as conferences, seminars and workshops periodically. These programs shall be designed to keep the ministers aflame for God so that they will focus on carrying out their ministerial duties in their local churches in such a way as to trigger a Holy Spirit-birthed revival in the church. A special literature publication shall also be dedicated for the purposes of this association. 2. Association of Christian Men and Women for National Transformation—ACMWNT (Pursuant to objective no. 19) The ministry shall establish an association of Christian men and women for national transformation. Membership of this association shall be open to all true believers of good standing in their various professions, irrespective of their church denominations. The association shall also operate as a sub-unit of the ministry and shall also organize some special programs aimed at promoting national transformation. It is expected that this association will grow to become a veritable pressure group for the eradication of corruption and all forms of ungodly practices in our society; the abrogation of ungodly edicts and laws at the national and state assemblies; the enactment and enforcement of God-glorifying laws, by-laws, policies, etc. at all levels of government, including governmental agencies and departments that are prone to corruption, such as the police, customs, maritime operations (especially the clearing and forwarding business), etc; and the enforcement of Christian ethical standards in all aspects of life within the society. 3. Association of Evangelical Churches for National Transformation—AECNT (Pursuant to objective no. 17) The ministry shall establish an association of some existing evangelical churches in various cities and nations of Africa that will serve as a true model of an evangelical (Bible-believing and practicing) church. Membership of this association shall be open to all truly Bible-believing churches. The association shall also function as a sub-unit of the ministry, and shall have very special programs such as strategic seminars or workshops in which delegates from all the associating churches will participate. This association will help in eliminating, or reducing to the barest minimum, the negative effects of high level denominational consciousness among African pastors, and promote a healthy spirit of unity and co-operation among the churches. These churches will be helped to become more biblically sound in their doctrines and to focus more on the love of God and His Kingdom (and not on the ephemeral things of this world) as the motivation for Christian ethics and service. Thus through these churches, more and more Christians will be transformed unto conformity with sound biblical worldview, and, consequently, become effective agents of societal transformation as they properly integrate the orthodox Christian faith with their various occupations, as the light of the world and the salt of the earth. 4.
